Description

Chanakya was a royal counselor, economist, Indian teacher, philosopher, and jurist who lived in ancient India. He is known as Kautilya or Vishnugupta, the creator of the Arthashastra, an ancient Indian political treatise. In India, he is regarded as a pioneer in the fields of political science and economics, and his work is regarded as a forerunner of classical economics.
